Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County tops South Park
December 5, 2025: Fairplay, CO 80440 Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host South Park Burros (Fairplay, CO), 41-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gilpin County advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Conifer (Conifer, CO) to meet the Lobos in a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. The Lobos come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Conifer won 44-6 in their recent non-league contest against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO)
The Burros now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conifer for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. South Park will face a Lobos squad coming off a 44-6 non-league win over Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Lobos record now stands at 1-0.
