In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Grossmont Foothillers basketball team scored a close 49-44 win over the Sage Creek Bobcats.

The Foothillers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bishop Gorman got by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 58-41, in a non-league match.
