Hawaii High School Basketball - University Laboratory School routed by Konawaena
December 5, 2025: Kealakekua, HI 96750 Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows (Honolulu, HI), 54-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Konawaena upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ka'u (Pahala, HI) to clash with the Trojans in a Big Island outing on Saturday, December 6. The Trojans enter the outing with a record of 1-2.
The Junior Rainbows (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Dragons enter the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Honoka'a was ripped by Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI), 55-23, in a league game.
