The MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball crushed the host Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), 64-38 in Friday's league bout.

The Generals now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rantoul for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. MacArthur will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 49-27 non-league win over Urbana University (Urbana, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Taylorville was routed by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 61-37, in a league test.
