With the victory, Veritas Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Defenders travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Waco, TX) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. The Knights go into the contest with a record of 2-3. Next, the Eagles face the Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Milano will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 6-7 record after their 48-29 non-league loss to Weimar (Weimar, TX).
