Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Joseph's Academy bests Mt. Carmel
December 5, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70808 The St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Mt. Carmel Cubs to 36 in the Redstickers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Redstickers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Chapelle for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. St. Joseph's Academy will confront a Chipmunks team coming off a 51-19 non-league win over Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Chipmunks record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Mt. Carmel falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cubs host Newman (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Greenies in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 6.
