The Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the host Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM), 40-17 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Matadors now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gadsden for a non-league test on Saturday, December 6. Parkland will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 36-33 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
