The Southwestern Heights Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Skyline Thunderbirds to 9 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Spearville for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16.

With the loss, Skyline falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 1-0.
