California High School Soccer - Las Plumas toppled by Foothill
December 5, 2025: Palo Cedro, CA 96073 Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Foothill moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to clash with the Miners in a non-league test on Friday, December 5. The Miners come into the test with a record of 1-0. Nevada Union won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)
The Thunderbirds now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Placer for a non-league test on Saturday, December 6. Las Plumas will clash with a Hillmen team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 2-0.
