Minnesota High School Basketball - Blackduck overwhelms Nashwauk-Keewatin
December 6, 2021: Blackduck, MN 56630 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) and the visiting Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN), saw Blackduck's basketball squad wallop Nashwauk-Keewatin by a tally of 74-46.
With the victory, Blackduck improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Drakes travel to Nevis (Nevis, MN) to confront the Tigers in a A Section 5 challenge on Thursday, January 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Deer River Warriors (Deer River, MN) in a A Section 7 challenge, on Friday, December 10. Nashwauk-Keewatin will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 102-72 non-league win over Mesabi East (Aurora, MN).
