Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH), 34-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Crossing upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH) to play the Tigers in a bout on Friday, December 10. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Silver Knights play the Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 23. Bishop Ready will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
