The Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) basketball nipped the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE), 51-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Monarchs (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
