Virginia High School Basketball - Battlefield nips Forest Park
December 6, 2022: Woodbridge, VA 22193 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) and the host Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA), saw Battlefield's basketball squad hold off Forest Park by a count of 55-52.
With the victory, Battlefield upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Freedom (South Riding, VA) to play the Eagles in a Cedar Run challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Freedom lost 60-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)
Next up, the Bruins play the Hylton Bulldogs (Woodbridge, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Forest Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Stafford (Falmouth, VA).
