Michigan High School Basketball - Western topped by Chelsea
December 6, 2022: Chelsea, MI 48118 The Chelsea Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Western Panthers to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Howell for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Chelsea will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 75-42 non-league win over Williamston (Williamston, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties come into the Interstate Eight contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Northwest prevailed over Mason (Mason, MI), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
