Alabama High School Basketball - Covenant Christian overwhelms Colbert County
December 6, 2022: Leighton, AL 35646 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) and the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), saw Covenant Christian's basketball squad wallop Colbert County by a count of 67-45.
With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Colbert Heights lost 63-33 in their recent non-league challenge against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
Next up, the Indians play the Danville Hawks (Danville, AL) in a 3A Area 15 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Colbert County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
