Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Crestwood winner over Shamokin Area
December 6, 2022: Mountain Top, PA 18707 The Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) basketball felled the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 57-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lake-Lehman was beaten by Montrose (Montrose, PA), 47-38, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Carmel for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Shamokin Area will encounter a RED TORNADOES squad coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Minersville (Minersville, PA). The RED TORNADOES record now stands at 1-1.
