Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Glendale Cardinals (Glendale, AZ), 84-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Edge upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Scorpions host Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Desert Vista lost 73-54 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Glendale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 51-44 non-league loss to Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ).
