The Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Hinkley Thunderbirds (Aurora, CO), 97-18 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Lewis-Palmer walloped Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO), 68-43, in a non-league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vista PEAK Prep for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Hinkley will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Monarch (Louisville, CO). The Bison record now stands at 3-1.
