The Magdalena Steers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Hot Springs Tigers to 23 in the Steers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Steers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramah for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Magdalena will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 40-38 non-league win over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Silver was routed by Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM), 64-37, in a non-league contest.
