Texas High School Basketball - Lubbock knocked off by Lamesa
December 6, 2022: Lubbock, TX 79401 The Lamesa Tornadoes basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Lubbock Westerners to 40 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rankin for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Lamesa will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 80-37 non-league win over Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-1.
The Westerners (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Loboes enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Monahans ran past Levelland (Levelland, TX), 56-45, in a non-league contest.
