Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mechanicsburg knocked off by Red Lion
December 6, 2022: Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 The Red Lion Lions basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Mechanicsburg Wildcats to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor Mifflin for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Red Lion will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 71-51 non-league loss to Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Milton Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Spartans enter the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Milton Hershey ran past Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA), 73-64, in a non-league contest.
