The Wimberley Texans basketball team scored 93 points and restricted the visiting Salado Eagles to 73 in the Texans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Texans now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peaster for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Wimberley will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 74-31 non-league win over Henrietta (Henrietta, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-2.

The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Regents (Austin, TX). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Regents was defeated by Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
