St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Francis upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL) to play the Eagles in a Metro Suburban bout on Friday, December 9.
