The Argo Argonauts basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 48 in the Argonauts league triumph on Tuesday.

The Argonauts now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremen for a South Suburban - Blue contest on Thursday, December 8. Argo will meet a Braves team coming off a 57-30 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Braves record now stands at 3-6.

The Red Wolves (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks enter the South Suburban - Blue contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest nudged Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL), 54-18, in a league contest.
