The Rouse Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Belton Tigers to 42 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lampasas for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Rouse will meet a Badgers team coming off a 79-28 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 16-6.

The Tigers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats enter the 5A Region III District 22 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Chaparral was nudged by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 48-28, in a non-league contest.
