Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) and the visiting Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD), saw Liberty's basketball squad wallop Brunswick by a tally of 72-39.

With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Winters Mill (Westminster, MD) to confront the Falcons in a Carroll County challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
