North Carolina High School Basketball - Leesville Road can't hold off Cary

December 6, 2022: Cary, NC 27511

The Cary Imps basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Leesville Road Pride to 38 in the Imps non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Imps now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Broughton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Cary will battle a Capitals team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 1-4.

The Pride (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Wake Forest was nudged by East Wake (Wendell, NC), 35-29, in a non-league contest.
