Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Enterprise Yellowjackets (Brookhaven, MS), 56-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loyd Star upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Franklin County lost 59-17 in their recent non-league bout against Morton (Morton, MS)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 46-27 non-league win over Stringer (Stringer, MS).
