North Carolina High School Basketball - Garner knocked off by Middle Creek

The Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Garner Trojans to 49 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holly Springs for a 4A Conference 29 contest on Friday, December 9. Middle Creek will meet a Golden Hawks team coming off a 70-33 non-league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Millbrook ran past Hillside (Durham, NC), 73-64, in a non-league contest.
