In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) basketball squad beat the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), by a count of 44-30.

The Skyhawks (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mingo Central toppled Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV), 80-35, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Big Blacks play the Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The White Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 49-36 league loss to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV).
