December 6, 2022: Wilkesboro, NC 28697 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) and the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), saw Ashe County's basketball squad overcome Wilkes Central by a tally of 42-24.
With the victory, Ashe County improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Avery County (Newland, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Wilkes Central will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
