North Carolina High School Basketball - Corinth Holders ripped by West Johnston
December 6, 2022: Wendell, NC 27591 The West Johnston Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Corinth Holders Pirates to 27 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gray's Creek for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. West Johnston will meet a Bears team coming off a 25-17 non-league loss to Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Rampants enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, J.H. Rose triumphed over Kinston (Kinston, NC), 38-15, in a non-league contest.
