California High School Basketball - Venture Academy tops Delta

December 6, 2022: Stockton, CA 95206

Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Delta Saints (Clarksburg, CA), 35-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Venture Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Ceres (Ceres, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Ceres won 22-21 in their recent non-league test against Venture Academy (Stockton, CA)

The Saints now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rosemont for a non-league test on Monday, December 12. Delta will encounter a Wolverine squad coming off a 53-27 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Wolverine record now stands at 7-2.
