December 6, 2022: Hickory, NC 28601 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Enka Jets (Enka, NC), saw Hickory's basketball squad overcome Enka by a tally of 29-16.
With the victory, Hickory improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Red Tornadoes host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Freedom lost 32-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Draughn (Valdese, NC)
Next up, the Jets confront the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Enka will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 53-12 non-league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).
