North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory nips Enka

December 6, 2022: Hickory, NC 28601

Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 35-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickory upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Red Tornadoes host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Freedom won 69-31 in their recent non-league bout against Draughn (Valdese, NC)

Next up, the Jets play the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Enka will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
