December 6, 2023: Slaughter, LA 70777 The Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 45-27 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Catholic of Pointe Coupee notched a victory over Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA), 40-35, in a non-league test.
The now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Covenant Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Ascension Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
