The Helix Highlanders basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Hilltop Lancers to 35 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastlake for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Helix will battle a Titans team coming off a 78-31 non-league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Titans record now stands at 4-4.

The Lancers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, High Tech CV was routed by Crawford (San Diego, CA), 77-72, in a non-league contest.
