West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), 53-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Davidson upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Central Carolina bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Thomasville lost 62-41 in their recent non-league bout against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
