Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), saw The Covenant's basketball squad hold off Veritas School by a tally of 37-36.

With the victory, The Covenant improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Raiders in a VISAA Division II challenge on Friday, December 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. North Cross lost 82-59 in their recent league challenge against Seton (Manassas, VA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Veritas School will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
