North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown crushes Central Academy

December 6, 2023: Kannapolis, NC 28083

A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 67-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, A.L. Brown upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wonders travel to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Purnell Swett lost 63-27 in their recent non-league bout against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Central Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Pride go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 59-56 league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC).
