Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong crushes Cristo Rey
December 6, 2023: Richmond, VA 23223 Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA), 53-16 in a league bout.
With the win, Armstrong upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host John Marshall (Richmond, VA) to play the Justices in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 13. The Justices enter the game with a record of 2-1.
With the defeat, Cristo Rey moves to 0-5 on the year. The Royals host Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to face the Lions in a VISAA Division II game on Thursday, December 7. The Lions enter the game with a record of 0-1. Veritas School lost 49-32 in their recent league game against St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA)
