Kentucky High School Basketball - Campbell County fells Walton-Verona
December 6, 2023: Walton, KY 41094 Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), 70-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Campbell County upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Camels travel to Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to clash with the Thoroughbreds in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Thoroughbreds go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Walton-Verona will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 54-25 non-league win over Eastern (Louisville, KY).
