December 6, 2023: Westmont, IL 60559 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) and the visiting Hinckley-Big Rock Royals (Hinckley, IL), saw Westmont's basketball squad overcome Hinckley-Big Rock by a tally of 58-39.
With the victory, Westmont improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL) to confront the Rebels in a Metro Suburban challenge on Friday, December 8. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Ridgewood won 53-21 in their recent non-league challenge against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL)
Next up, the Royals confront the Somonauk/Leland Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) in a Little Ten challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Hinckley-Big Rock will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 62-33 non-league loss to Plano (Plano, IL).
