Virginia High School Basketball - Oakton tipped by Yorktown
December 6, 2023: Vienna, VA 22181 The Yorktown Patriots basketball team scored 15 points and held the host Oakton Cougars to 12 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Patriots now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac Falls for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Lewis was nudged by Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 50-7, in a non-league contest.
