December 6, 2023: Torrance, CA 90505 Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host South Spartans (Torrance, CA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Sailors enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA).
The Spartans now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Montgomery for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. South will confront a Knights team coming off a 1-1 non-league Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
