In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 60-44.

The Thunderbolts (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Sabino was knocked off by Empire (Tucson, AZ), 65-30, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Chargers play the Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Cholla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Caballeros come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 44-28 non-league loss to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).
