In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Portage Mustangs basketball squad scored a big 73-50 victory over the Marion Center Stingers.

With the victory, Portage improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to confront the Red Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Red Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Purchase Line lost 50-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA)
