The Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA) basketball edged the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 61-56 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paradise for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Hoopa Valley will play a Bobcats team coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
