Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Baker Gators (Baker, FL), 69-67 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Freeport advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Walton (DeFuniak Springs, FL) to face the Braves in a 3A District 1 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Braves enter the match with a record of 0-1.

The Gators now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a Rural District 1 match on Tuesday, December 10. Baker will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.
