Nevada High School Basketball - Basic holds off Chaparral

December 6, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89121

The Basic Wolves basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Chaparral Cowboys to 65 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Faith Lutheran for a 4A Mountain game on Wednesday, December 11. Basic will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 59-53 non-league win over Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Green Valley (Henderson, NV) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Gators go into the game with a record of 2-3. Green Valley won 65-48 in their recent non-league game against Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV)
